The annual Scenes of South Walton Art Show is upon us! This year marks the 12th anniversary of this fundraising art exhibition, featuring a select group of 22 artists from the local art landscape.
Working across various media from the traditional to the contemporary―oil to photography to glass mosaic―Scenes of South Walton presents a stunning collection of no fewer than 38 works. With the arresting beauty + enchantment of the vicinity in translation, this suite of work aims to encapsulate in one room the natural wonders of South Walton.

SOUTH WALTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The SWCC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit coalition of several hundred residents, property owners, employees, neighborhoods + business owners. In 1995, growing out of a need for grassroots expression, a group of dedicated citizens gathered to make a difference in their community. They recognized how preserving + protecting the unique coastal environment would enhance the quality of life for all who visit or choose to to call South Walton home. After 18 years these volunteers are going strong. For more information go to www.SouthWaltonCC.org or follow us on Facebook.
THE HIDDEN LANTERN GALLERY
Established in 2010, The Hidden Lantern Gallery is committed to the visibility of local + regional emerging artists. Exhibitions feature works of art in various media, with prominence given to painting + sculpture, but where traditional materials are utilized in unconventional ways. It is the unlimited possibilities inherent in art-making that incite + motivate our work. With the creative process at the fore, it is our hope to engage + inspire.
